Paul Ettl
As the patriarch and managing director of our family business, he is extremely happy to finally find some time here and there to enjoy the little things in life, like riding his electric bike around Podersdorf. He skillfully orchestrates our team’s efforts and keeps a keen eye on the books. That said, for Paul, trust is better than supervision. This has always been the secret to Paul’s success.
Christa Ettl
As the matriarch and co-director of our family business, she has a passion for gardening, transforming what she harvests into a variety of delightful jams. With an equal passion, she also welcomes visitor to our organic winery, guiding them through the rich history and distinct flavors of our wines. She has a special way of helping visitors find the perfect wine and ensuring everyone leaves with and smile on their face, eager to return for their next visit.
Michael Ettl
Our cellar master, Michael, enjoys a balance between the quiet of the cellar and the thrill of the skies. An avid kitesurfer, he draws inspiration from the power of nature, as he skims and soars across the waves of Lake Neusiedl, bringing a sense of adventure and precision to our wine-making process. Together with his brother Christian, Michael makes wines with a very special touch that can only be achieved through organic viticulture. His interest in wines knows no bounds, as can be seen by the extensive collection he maintains of wines from around the world. Some of which are almost as good as our own!
Christian Ettl
Christian shares the title of cellar master with his brother Michael, and, like his brother, he is responsible for the many activities that are necessary to keep the winery running. This includes everything from working in the vineyards, which often begins before sunrise, to transporting and selling the finished wines at market stalls in Vienna. This requires strength and stamina, which is why you will often find Christian in the fitness center or training at the American football club. All that hard work can make a person hungry, which is perfect for Christian since, after winemaking, cooking is his second passion.
Constanze Ettl
Michael’s wife Constanze brings a breeze of fresh air into the office, skillfully blending administrative finesse with a photographer’s eye. Together with her daughter Hannah, she explores the world looking for the perfect photo motif. Their adventures begin just outside our doorstep, finding wonder in Christa’s garden as well as among the vineyards that make up the picturesque landscape around Lake Neusiedl.
